Gynecomastia or the growth of female like breasts on a male can be a very embarrassing problem. Millions of men have it and sometimes even resort to wearing a man bra, taking expensive pills or even surgery. This doesn’t have to be the case for you because if you have man boobs, exercise can be done to reduce and eliminate these.
Three things are important when with exercise and man boobs – a proper diet to counter the hormonal imbalance in your body, exercise to lose weight overall and exercise to target specific areas around the breast to eliminate it entirely. Here are a few of my own personal favourite man boobs exercise routines.
Interval Training – as mentioned, it is important to lose excess weight to make it harder for your body to retain your man boobs. When you lose weight overall you also burn off the fatty tissue that makes up the breasts. Interval training is one of the most effective forms of training for fat loss and must be done to reduce the fat on your body as soon as possible. An example of interval training would be to run as fast as you can for 30 seconds, and then walk or jog for 90 seconds and rotate for the entire duration of the workout.
Push Ups – These help your chest muscles to become tighter. Your arms will also be worked on at the same time.
Incline Flyes – these help to tone up your pectoral muscles, the muscles behind the chest. You need an inclined bench and free weights. Put a dumbbell in each hand and sit on an inclined bench at about 45 degrees. Then bring the weights up and in front of you. Slowly bring them to your sides until the weights are at about the height of shoulder level and then bring them back to their original position.
Bench Press – Start with a weight that you can easily do 6-8 reps with. Then do 2 sets of these 3 times a week, or every other day. Add more weight as you feel comfortable.
Curls or Dumbbell Raises – these are both good in getting rid of male breasts.
Theses man boobs exercise routines are just a few of the many exercises to get rid of man boobs and lose chest fat. Remember that these exercises must accompany a proper diet to balance out your hormones.
