Although I am still at the start of my weight loss, I thought I would do a quick video with handy advice that has helped me get back on track and lose weight. Tips like the importance of water. Not cheating …unless watching calorie intake and the benefits of walking.
For a while there I had started losing weight but then plataued and these tips helped me get back on track and continue to lose weight.

My name is Dan. I have been overweight most of my life, and in 2013, I reached my highest weight of 26.5 Stone (371lb /168kg). In September of that year my appendix burst and ulcerated and what would usually be a straightforward operation became a life or death situation literally, because of the weight I was carrying and the level of ulceration. After recovering from open surgery I vowed I would do what ever it took to lose weight and get my health back.
Since starting my weight loss journey I have learned so much and have got the right people helping me, and now I am documenting my weight loss journey both to make me accountable and help motivate others who have struggled all their life just like me.
