The problem with this is most fast food is loaded with fat and calories. Here are some tips for making it easier to not cheat on your diet when you want a snack quickly.

1. Put together snack packs with 100 calories or less in Ziploc bags. Some great ideas for snack packs include air popped popcorn, rice cake chips, pretzels, carrot sticks, chopped vegetables, half a protein bar, or anything else you enjoy that can be broken down to 100 calorie packs.

2. If you are craving chocolate, why not try having a cup of hot chocolate. It has a lot less calories than a chocolate bar but will let you have the chocolate you are craving.

3. If you have a tendency to snack in front of the television at night, make sure to have low calorie snacks readily available so you will not be tempted to pick up a high fat and calorie snacks and start munching out.

4. Why not try keeping many yummy flavors of yogurt in the fridge so you can grab one quickly when the cravings hit. You can also snack on half a cup of sherbet or ice milk when those dairy cravings hit.

5. Make sure that you have low calorie snacks that you can take with you. Keep a couple in your purse, car, and desk at work or where ever they are readily available so you will not be tempted to hit the vending machine for chips and candy bars.

By keeping plenty of snacks that are low in fat and calories easily available, it will make it much easier for you to stick with your diet. Nothing ruins a die faster than eating three or four 500-calorie snacks a day.
