In order to lose fat from your body you must cut it out of your diet. Of course, I am not talking about all fat, since there are some good fats. What I am talking about is cutting out the bad fats that make you gain weight.
Some of the worst foods and fats for your body that you want to avoid include butter, margarine, animal fat, whole milk, fried foods, donuts, cake, candy, mayonnaise, salad dressing, oil or any other foods that include high fat content.
One way to cut fat from your diet is to replace some of these foods in your recipes with other things that taste good without adding all the fat and calories. If you are making mashed potatoes or rice, use chicken broth or herbs instead of adding tons of butter or sour cream. It will still taste good and can save you hundreds of calories and tons of fat.
When you eat toast instead of adding butter, why not add sugar free jellies or fruit jams that taste delicious. If you just cannot give up dressing on your salads, why not try the low-fat versions or mix you’re dressing with half water and half dressing, put it on the side, and then just dip your salad into the dressing for each bite. This will help you save a lot of fat and calories.
If you really crave foods that are high in fat, try cutting your serving size down to about a third of what you usually eat. Say you really enjoy steak, why not have a smaller one and add more fruits and vegetables to your plate to help you feel satisfied.
